My name is Taz, and I started this blog to discuss the issues facing people with learning disabilities, many of which I see on a daily basis. My brother Jacob has low functioning autism (the more severe end of the spectrum) and ADHD. This blog is dedicated to him, hence the name Jacob’s Time, as believe it is time for change in society, as I have seen through his experiences. I have a biological science degree from the University of East Anglia, so as well as helping to explain scientific articles, I want this to be a place to start conversation, offer and receive knowledge, be a place to find help and create a community for the betterment of people with learning disabilities.I hope you enjoy my ramblings and are willing to share your own experiences and thoughts.
